Bridge miles in days On August 24, Mayor Tom Barrett announced the last two parcels at the city owned Menomonee Valley Industrial Center are being sold ; filling the business park 15 years after its development effort began. Badger Railing will expand the size of their operations with the development of a parcel adjacent to their current facility.

Sigma is serving as the environmental and civil engineering consultant for both development projects; and the overall industrial park, on behalf of the City, providing soil and vapor management in accordance with WDNR requirements, as well as site civil design.

The project involved the stabilization and restoration of the north bank of the Menomonee River and construction of approximately 1, linear feet of trail along the north bank of the river. The project is part of a larger endeavor to redevelop the Menomonee Valley, an area that represents 1,acres of the most visible, former Brownfield in Wisconsin.

Sigma takes pride in participating in Menomonee Valley and associated Brownfield redevelopment projects, as part of the Valley community and as a business headquartered in the Menomonee Valley on a restored Brownfield site. While enjoying after-work refreshments, guests were able to see the drone fly live on-site, and also see in real time as we integrate this technology into our Civil Engineering and Facilities Services work.

Sigma also demonstrated 3D Laser Scanning capabilities, fostering excellent discussions on incorporating the technology into as-builts, project pursuits, and other construction work.
